Rip It Up Publishing’s The Adelaide Fix was a runaway success during Adelaide’s festival months in 2008 and 2009, as festival-goers consumed the street publication’s mix of daily news, features, reviews, as well as its festival guide. In 2010, The Adelaide Fix returns a third time to be the essential guide for punters looking for all the information they need to accommodate them during The Fringe, Adelaide Festival Of Arts, The Garden of Unearthly Delights, Fuse, the Future Music Festival and WOMADelaide.
On the street from February 9 through to March 11, The Adelaide Fix will be published nine times (on Tuesdays and Fridays), with 5000 copies of each issue being distributed free throughout the CBD and other key entertainment areas. The Adelaide Fix succeeds because the magazine is delivered straight into the hands of festival–goers as they line up for events, as well as in the crowded festival hotspots.
The Adelaide Fix content and product is created by an editorial and production staff which lives and breathes Adelaide during the festival month, resulting in a publication BY festival-goers FOR festival-goers.
The Adelaide Fix will be promoted in the print and online editions of Rip It Up and Onion, as well as its partners in other media.
